HI Sets Agenda for 2010 Spring Meeting

The Hydraulic Institute’s (HI) 2010 Spring Meeting will take place June 9th through 12th at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, TX.

Members of the Hydraulic Institute, Associate Members, Standards Partners and qualified prospective members are invited to attend the meeting with their team and their organization’s HR professionals.

The agenda includes a range of informational sessions and workshops, including:

  • Pump Knowledge Workshop, The Effects of Variable Speed Operation on Mechanical Seals, presented by John Merrill, Application Engineer of EagleBurgmann Industries, LP;

  • Standards Leadership Training, jointly run by David McKinstry, HI VP of Technical Affairs, and Tom Angle, 2009 HI Member of the Year and former Chair, HI Standards Committee;

  • Pumping Systems Optimization Course (June 8th) and Train–the-Trainer Course (June 9th) presented by Pumps Systems Matter

HI’s initiative, the Human Resources Network, will also be offered for HR executives and CEO’s with HR responsibilities. The agenda also provides ample opportunity for attendee networking.

The Spring Meeting is HI’s premier venue for interested participants to volunteer their expertise and join industry-transforming technical committees which ultimately create globally respected ANSI/HI Standards, technical guidelines and reports for pumps and pumping systems.
